Ordering a shower installation service

When you order an installation service from our online store, an LVI-Eklund installer will contact you within 1–3 business days to arrange an installation time. Installation is usually carried out within approximately 2–5 business days of the shower arriving at the customer, taking into account the site information.

NOTE! The installation service does not apply to concealed shower heads. You can request a separate quote from us for the installation of these.

What does the shower installation service include?

  • Removal of the old shower and removal if necessary.
  • Attaching a new shower, mixer and/or shower set according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Repairing old holes with colorless sanitary silicone.
  • Connecting the shower to an existing water system with a shut-off valve.
  • Testing the function of the shower.
  • Removal of installation and packaging waste.

What is not included in the installation service?

The installation service does not cover the following measures:

  • Protecting floors and the environment during installation work.
  • Plumbing work other than connecting the shower to the existing water system.
  • Construction work, such as modifying a wall or floor to ensure the shower is suitable.
  • Assembling the shower, if it is delivered in parts (if necessary, a separate charge of €75/shower will be charged).
  • Installation of concealed showers.
  • Possible accessories, such as water heaters or filters.

Any additional work and materials will be charged separately depending on the actual work. The price of additional work is €75.30/h and the minimum charge is always 1 hour.

What should a customer know before ordering a shower installation?

The installation service is available in the Helsinki, Vantaa, Espoo and Kauniainen areas, as well as Kerava, Tuusula, Järvenpää, Kirkkonummi, Nurmijärvi and Sipoo.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that the shower is suitable for installation at the location and that the installation is possible. In addition, the customer must check the product they receive for any possible transport damage. If the installer determines that the shower is not suitable for installation or that installation is not possible with the measures included in the service, the customer will be charged for the installer's lost working time (75.30 €/h incl. VAT) and mileage compensation (1.38 €/km incl. VAT). In this situation, the minimum charge is 1 hour.

The customer should note that a mileage allowance of €1.38/km will be charged for additional work ordered separately, interruption of the installation, and possible supply collection. The mileage allowance is calculated from the installer's travel from the location to the destination and back, as well as for possible supply collection, if they are necessary for the installation.
