Delivery
Balneo.fi delivers products only to mainland Finland. The customer can choose their preferred delivery method at checkout from the available options.
Delivery methods and costs depend on the size, weight, delivery location, and chosen delivery method of the product. Delivery costs are calculated and displayed in the shopping cart before order confirmation, allowing the customer to accept them prior to payment.
Available delivery methods include postal packages, home delivery, freight, pickup for Tapwell products, and special delivery for large, heavy, and fragile items, such as bathtubs and mirrors. If a special delivery solution is required for the product, the customer will be informed of any additional costs before order confirmation.
Delivery of Large Products:
Delivery for large and heavy items, such as bathtubs, occurs to the side of the delivery truck at a location where the truck has unobstructed access to the delivery address. If a large delivery truck cannot access the location due to road width or other obstacles, delivery will be made to the nearest possible location where delivery can occur. The customer is responsible for moving the product indoors unless they have ordered a separate indoor carrying or installation service.
Indoor carrying is not included in standard delivery but can be offered as an additional service at the time of order, provided the service is available in the delivery area. Any additional services and associated costs will be visible during the ordering process before payment is accepted.
Products delivered to homes are transported to the delivery address, but moving the product into the building, upstairs, or to any hard-to-reach location is not included in the delivery unless otherwise agreed. It is recommended that the customer inquire about the availability of additional services before placing the order and ensure that the delivery truck can access the delivery location.
Delivery Time:
Orders are processed every business day, and delivery time varies based on product availability and delivery location. The general delivery time is 5-10 business days, but some products are made-to-order, which can take up to 8 weeks for delivery.
All our products are delivered from manufacturers or wholesalers directly to the customer. For this reason, delivery times can vary by product. An accurate estimate of the delivery time will be provided upon order confirmation.
If the order contains multiple products, they may be delivered in separate shipments depending on the schedules of the suppliers. The customer will be informed of partial deliveries in the order confirmation or through a separate notification.
Delivery Areas and Restrictions:
Balneo.fi delivers products to delivery addresses in mainland Finland. Deliveries to poste restante addresses are not possible.
If a customer wishes to order products to Åland Islands, archipelago areas, or abroad, they must contact our customer service before placing the order to clarify delivery options and potential additional costs.
In such cases, delivery terms will be agreed upon separately before order confirmation.
Inspecting the Delivery:
The customer must check the delivery upon receipt to ensure it matches the information on the delivery documents (waybill/shipping note) and that the product is undamaged.
If the customer notices transportation damage at the time of delivery, it should be recorded on the transportation document, and Balneo.fi’s customer service (info@balneo.fi) should be notified without delay.
If damage is discovered after delivery, the customer must inform Balneo.fi’s customer service as soon as possible. Consumer protection laws apply regarding product defects and transportation damage.
